Diesel

What is it?

It is one of the cleanest automotive diesels with low sulphur content.

What are the benefits?

Diesel offers superior fuel economy in comparison to equivalent petrol models, emitting low levels of exhaust hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide when correctly tuned and maintained. Under Federal legislation, the sulphur content of diesel was reduced to 10 parts per million as of 1 January 2009.

Who is it right for?

As well as producing cleaner emissions, Puma diesel offers excellent operational performance, for both older and the very latest diesel engines.

We offer Premium Diesel at selected sites.

Bio Diesel

What is it?

Puma Bio-D is a blend of our premium low sulphur diesel with up to 5% biodiesel, making it a more environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional diesel. Biodiesel is made from natural renewable sources and can be blended in almost any ratio with petroleum-based diesel. Biodiesel blends are often known by the ratio of biodiesel to regular diesel. For example, B5 means 5% biodiesel and 95% petroleum-based diesel.

What are the benefits?

This product delivers superior environmental benefits by reducing greenhouse gas emissions when compared to fossil fuels. It is more cost effective than regular diesel and is safer as it is less combustible and meets the Australian specification for diesel. Your car will also benefit from the improved fuel lubricity, which can delay engine wear.

Who is it right for?

Most diesel vehicles, however, if you are unsure refer to your manual or your engine warranty. We also deliver biodiesel in bulk to commercial customers. For more information, contact us.
